Guster walked out of the prison, squinting at the light, and muttered something under her breath. “I’ll have to get her back later,” she thought to herself. She looked up as her eyes adjusted to the brightness and saw a man dressed up in a suit. He seemed rather charming, though the way he carried himself made it seem like he liked being in charge. Since he was in Guster’s way, she tried to just keep walking until she got past him towards the nearest bus station home. But he was trying to get her attention.
“You can at least talk to the person who bailed you out of jail.” He calmly exclaimed. Guster stopped, and gives the man the evil eye. He stops speaking, and presses Guster no further. Then he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small business card. As Guster takes it the man introduces himself. “Hello, I am Jeremy Allen, and I’m looking for people with your abilities to be in a reality television show. Let me know if you are interested.” Mr. Allen walked off, and Guster is left to wonder wether or not the man was serious. Guster walks all the way to the bus station, half wondering if any other weird men were going to ask her to be on a reality Television show.
Guster turns off the television as she hears her phone ringing. She looks at the clock and sees that it’s one in the morning, and lets out a groan. “Not again…” she thinks. She answers her phone, and spends the next five minutes arguing with her boss. “I swear the only reason I got fired was because I was in jail!! Come on, you can’t expect me to go to work when I’m behind bars! Please, this is the only job I have, how am I supposed to keep paying to live in my apartment?” Her boss doesn’t seem to be interested in keeping her hired, and tells her that she is fired. She sighs, and smashes a hole in the wall. ‘Can this day get any worse?’ she thinks to herself as she goes to her medicine cabinet. ‘I just need something, I don’t care what.’ Remembering that she still had some Ecstacy from a recent party at her favorite nightclub, she looks for the bottle. She silently cursed her luck as she looks and finds an empty bottle in front of her. ‘Great, now this day has really gotten worse!’ She mutters under her breath as she prepares to head out the door.
“Tch. No one is giving out for free tonight…” she silently cursed. Guster had all ready approached three dealers, and no one was willing to give anything to her since she had no money. Then she sees a man in a red hoodie at the next street corner. She goes up to him and asks if he had any Ecstasy, and he promptly refuses to sell to her.
“Come on, are you sure you don’t want to help a lady out?” Guster innocently asks as she moves closer to the dealer, putting her hand on his hoodie. This guy seemed like he’d be more generous than the previous three, Guster reasoned.
“Look lady, unless you’ve got cash, I’ve got nothing for you.” The dealer flatly replies.
Realizing she will get no where with this man, she mumbles a few choice words, and walks off. ‘I know that this day can’t get any worse.’ As she sees a black car come up to her. A man rolls down the window, and asks her “How much?”
“Beat it pal.” Guster angrily snaps back at him. As she walks down towards a local bar, the man in the car keeps following her, pestering her.
“How much? Come on lady, how much? Look, will you tell me how much?” the man keeps asking.
Guster in the mean time is trying to control her anger, and the real urge to break this guy’s neck. ‘I all ready just got bailed out of jail, I don’t want to go back before a day has passed.’ She keeps telling herself. And still she hears the man’s persistent remarks.
“Look pal, I don’t have time for you, so buzz off you creep!” she finally yells. At the corner of her eye, she sees a newspaper machine at the side of the bar. She looks at  the front picture, and as she turns around the man exclaims. “Look lady, who do you think you are?”
Guster turns towards him and walks towards the car with a huge grin across her face as she says, “I’m a star.” She elbows the car, sending it flying across the road, off down unto the side of the road and into a tree. She takes another look at the newspaper, and smashes the glass covering it.
The front page is captioned, “Showdown between Heroes in a battle of wills” with a picture of Bubble and Guster fighting. Guster pulls out her cell phone and you hear her say “I’ll join your little show, but only if I get to bring a friend along.” As she hangs up you see a big grin go across her face.
“Now we can finish this fight Bubble.” She exclaims with pure joy. “I knew that this was going to be a good day!”
